To make your eLearning lessons effective, and memorable, remember to use relevant images, stories and scenarios.   For example, let's say you are trying to teach sales trainees to ask questions to find the pain, before going on and on about features and benefits.

That reminds me of the 90 year old golfer looking for his ball in the woods, and coming across a talking frog - who said psst buddy, give me a kiss and I will turn into a beautiful princess. The old golfer picked up the frog and put him in his jacket pocket. A few minutes later, the frog peeked out and repeated - if you give me a kiss, I'll turn into a beautiful princess. The old man once again pushed the frog back into his pocket. Another 5 minutes and the frog again reminded the old golfer about the kiss. Finally the golfer pulled out the frog and said listen, as much as I appreciate your offer, and would very much enjoy the company of a beautiful princess, at my age, I think I'd rather have a talking frog.

The point is before going on and on about features and benefits, take the time to ask questions, listen and figure out what the customer needs.   Click the next button for a quick review.
