Dupont Learning’s START Program is designed to build a strong safety culture by equipping employees with essential training, encouraging proactive hazard reporting, and recognizing safety contributions. This program is structured into four key phases:
1. EHS Consultation: Dupont Learning learns about unique safety and risk factors at your company.
2. Tailored Training: A custom library is provided to address industry and company-specific risks and job roles.
3. Accident & Incident Reporting: Employees learn to report incidents, near misses, and safety risks using the Safety Management/Incidents Module.
4. Employee Recognition & Rewards: To reinforce engagement, employees are recognized and rewarded for actively participating in training, safety reporting and risk reduction efforts.

S.T.A.R.T.
- S - Safety Orientation: Dupont Learning’s S.T.A.R.T. Program provides the “Why Incident Management Matters” suite of foudational safety courses from Pure Safety, including Continuously Improve for Safety Excellence, Culture of Prompt Incident Reporting, Incident Investigation, and more (see below)
- T - Tailored Training: We will also provide customer-specific safety training using existing customer training content, and curated Pure Safety courses that align with industry and company-specific hazards and job roles.
- A – Accident & Incident Reporting: We will also provide the PureOHS Safety Management/Incidents Module and train employees to report incidents, near misses, and safety risk observations to improve hazard awareness.
- R – Recognition & Rewards: Encourage a safety-first culture by promoting incentives, recognition, and financial rewards for employees who actively report safety risks.
- T – Teamwork & Communication: Foster open communication and engagement by sharing safety success stories and best practices across teams.
